To reset your university password, please contact Learning Information Services (LIS) at the University of Chester on 01244 511234.

If you know your university password, but wish to change it, you can do so via Portal. Log in to Portal and click the ‘password’ button at the top right of your Portal homepage.

Current students and staff

Please log in with your usual university username and password.

Graduates

The first time you log in as a graduate you will need to reset your password.

Once your CareerHub account becomes a graduate account, you will receive an email to the personal email address the university has on record for you (if you don't have access to this don't worry - keep reading).

On the main login screen you now need to click 'Graduate'.

Rather than typing in a username and password the first time you come to log in, click the 'Reset password' link.

You will then be promoted to enter your student number and email address. This email address needs to be the email address the university has on record for you.

If you don't know the email address the university has for you, or you no longer use it, click the 'Forgotten your details or don't have access to your email address?' link. You'll be asked for a few details to gain access to your account. This needs to be approved by a member of Careers and Employability, so you may not be able to log in straight away.

As a graduate you will have access to CareerHub for two years following the completion of your course. After these two years your account becomes inactive and you will no longer be able to login
