You can recover your CareerHub Login password using the form below.
To reset your university password, please contact Learning Information Services (LIS) at the University of Chester on 01244 511234.
If you know your university password, but wish to change it, you can do so via Portal. Log in to Portal and click the ‘password’ button at the top right of your Portal homepage.
Please log in with your usual university username and password.
Staff will be asked for some additional details. Your account will then be approved by a member of Careers and Employability.
The first time you log in as a graduate you will need to reset your password.
Once your CareerHub account becomes a graduate account, you will receive an email to the personal email address the university has on record for you (if you don't have access to this don't worry - keep reading).
On the main login screen you now need to click 'Graduate'.
Rather than typing in a username and password the first time you come to log in, click the 'Reset password' link.
You will then be promoted to enter your student number and email address. This email address needs to be the email address the university has on record for you.
If you don't know the email address the university has for you, or you no longer use it, click the 'Forgotten your details or don't have access to your email address?' link. You'll be asked for a few details to gain access to your account. This needs to be approved by a member of Careers and Employability, so you may not be able to log in straight away.
Two years after completing your most recent course your account will be moved to the ‘Alumni (more than two years)’ account. If you don’t engage with Careers and Employability your ‘Alumni (more than two years) will remain active for a further two years (five years after end your course date). After this time your account will be anonymised with all personal information removed and you will no longer be able to login to CareerHub. If you wish to login after this point you will need to create a new account. If you meet the criteria of engagement your account will continue to remain active. If you completed your course more than two years ago and do not have an account, click new users to create an account.
If you're still having problems gaining access to your account, please contact Careers and Employability on 01244 513066 or email email@example.com
